I have been to many weddings in my life. Some of those weddings were definitely more memorable than other weddings were and I believe that I am certainly aware of the reason this was always the case: the music.
When you get married, you want to throw a memorable wedding reception for your family and friends. Usually, most weddings I have been to were very memorable and definitely required lots of work on the part of those getting married. The thing is that your wedding can be one of the most exciting and wonderful events in your life, so you want to make sure that your reception stands out from other receptions your family and friends go to. After all, you want them to talk about this very special day for a very long time and you want them to be impressed with everything that you organized for them.
One of the most important parts of every wedding reception is music. After all, you want your guests to be able to enjoy themselves to the rhythm of some upbeat music. People want to have fun and you cannot blame them for it. They want to dance until the morning light and they want to have fun while doing so. You cannot deny them this unique possibility. Who knows, maybe even some of them want to come to your wedding to be able to dance? You cannot blame them for it as every person has a right to enjoying themselves to some quality music.
There was this one very memorable wedding I went to back in 2004. As you can see, it was many years ago, but I still remember it as if it was yesterday. From what I remember, I was dancing like never before until dawn. When I came back home, the sun was already rising and a brand new day was starting. I had so much fun during this particular wedding that all I was able to think about for a long time was how much I enjoyed it. This is probably one of the reasons I am so eager to go to more weddings hoping that I am going to enjoy myself at least as much as on the day of this special wedding, or possibly even more. Who knows, maybe soon I am going to be part of something very unique such as the wedding day of one of my friends and this will encourage me to talk about this event for a very long time.
I believe that it definitely matters what type of a DJ you decide to hire for your wedding. Just look at those DC wedding DJs and you will know what I am talking about. A good DJ is a DJ who knows to work with the crowd. He will be willing to make sure that every person on the reception enjoys themselves immensely. To be honest, I know right on the spot whether a DJ is good or not. A good Dj is definitely passionate about his job. He perfectly knows what type of tunes people generally like and what type of music to play on a wedding day so that instead of sitting people will be more likely to actively participate in the activities that the DJ has in store for them. Additionally, there are some people who very rarely dance, so it is the role of the DJ to encourage the activity. You wouldn’t believe that your uncle or aunt might want to dance until you see them for the first time shaking their hips on the dance floor. This can be very encouraging.
To be honest, I look forward to some memorable weddings this year. I hope that I am going to be invited to many of them in spring and summer. A few of my friends are going to get married this year so I am hoping to see a few wedding invitations in my mailbox soon. Something tells me that I am going to enjoy myself on the dance floor a lot more often this year and that I will spend many memorable hours practicing some of the moves that I devised already some time ago.
