Slideshow presentations are a great way to present ideas and data in a clear and efficient fashion. They are great for businesses, but even home users can use slideshows for many reasons like, for example, to display family pictures. Programs like Powerpoint are very useful applications, so here is some advice that I can give to you that will make you a Powerpoint power user:
- Try to use the same background for all the slides. PowerPoint has some templates already included that you can use. Of course, this does not apply if you want to make a presentation of pictures, but generally using the same background is a good idea.
� Try to include some pictures and graphics. After all, PowerPoint is a visual way of presenting data. Do not put too much graphics though, unless there is a clear reason for it.
� Make your presentation visible. Use high contrasting colors. For example, if you have white background, use saturated black or dark blue color. If you have black background, use snow white color etc. Your presentation will look so much better is you follow this guideline.
� Do not get discouraged if somebody criticizes your presentation. You can learn something new from someone else�s critique.
