The Growth of Blogging

Some time ago, I read an article about blogging and there were some interesting numbers listed there. The article stated that Technorati, a search engine that monitors blogs, indexed around 150 million blogs, up from 100,000 just a few years ago. It seems that a new blog is created every few seconds, which adds up to thousands new blogs a day, hundreds of thousands of posts a day, and thousands of updates an hour. As you see, the growth rate of blogs is really impressive. But what are really blogs? I think that blogs are lowering the cost of publishing, enabling the rise of content, which is replacing the centralized, controlled content done by professionals. I am not saying that some bloggers do not go pro, but most bloggers are only blogging part-time. Blogs are becoming more and more popular with each passing day. One of the reasons is that very often bloggers allow their visitors to ask them questions, leave comments, etc. A user that visits a blog can actually interact with the writer and that is not possible in case of newspapers.
The article had the conclusion that blogging is still in its early days and it is analogous to where the Web was in 1995 and 1996, so it is not clear how it will turn out. However, as a blogger myself, I am predicting that the popularity of blogging will not cease to grow and some bloggers will become even more influential.

Industrial Electronics Supply

You might operate a business that performs repairs on a wide variety of electronic items. This means that you might not always have all of the parts you need in stock at your repair shop. In this case, you will need to order your parts from a company that supplies them. There are many of these companies out there. Unfortunately, the quality of service and inventory that they offer can be very different. This is why you need to check out a supplier very carefully before you start doing business with them. Here are several ways you can go about deciding which electronic parts supplier to use.

1. What is the size of their inventory?

This is the first question you will need to ask any electronic parts supplier. There is a chance that your repair shop deals with repairing many obscure items. These items will most likely require parts that are not easy to find. Therefore, you will need to locate a parts supplier that always has the parts you need in stock. Otherwise, you will be forced to spend a lot of your time on the phone to various suppliers in an attempt to find the parts that your repairs require. Take a close look at the parts supplier’s inventory online to get a good idea of what they carry on a regular basis. Do you see all of the parts that you usually need? Do they carry many parts that are difficult to find at other suppliers?

2. Speed of delivery

It is great if you can find a electronic parts supplier with the parts that you need in stock. However, this will not really matter if it takes an eternity for these various parts to be delivered to your shop. Therefore, you need to find an industrial electronics supply company that immediately ships the parts you order so you will receive them quickly. This will allow you to complete your repairs faster and keep your customers happy in the process.

3. Quality customer service

It would help if the parts supplier you choose also offers outstanding customer service that makes you want to keep doing business with them again in the future. For example, it should always be easy for you to get someone on the phone when you have a question about a part or one of your orders. They should go the extra mile to please you.
